The Cover Letter

We know that a potential employer takes about 10 seconds to scan your resume and decide whether or not to contact you to offer an interview. You may have even less time to impress a hiring manager with your cover letter.

The Resume Group knows that:

  • Your cover letter is essentially your introduction and “handshake” with a potential employer.
  • Your cover letter has to “hit them between the eyes” with an immediate reason to move on to the resume.
  • The better your cover letter, the better your chances of getting decision-makers to read your resume.
  • You need expertly worded cover letters that showcase your unique talents.
  • Your cover letter has to get you on the short list of candidates that everyone wants to interview.
